I continue to struggle with shanked shot's particularly short pitches and chip's. These are generally around the green and are real game spoiler's - I am sure the most frustrating shot in golf. I have worked through area's which cause this problem (e.g. open club face) and spent a lot of time trying to fix it but they continue to crop up and am really struggling to find as solution as 'good' shot's 'feel' the same as shanked shot's.
I have made a bit of progress with chip shot's by concentrating on use of the shoulder's only - front shoulder up and down but struggle with short pitch shot's. Occasionally this happen's with longer iron's.
Any help would be greatly appreciated Ross as this problem is taking a lot of enjoyment out of golf. Cheer's, Dave

Dave, you really just need to send me a couple videos (front and back view), so I can see and tell you exactly why and how to fix vs. guessing.  I'm pretty sure you've read all the posts and reasons why that ball is shanked.
